A Moment of Fantasy by Vantage x ortie_rouge
This is a series that illustrate moments suspended in time in a surrealist universe close to night. Three images, three stories. Vantage first emerges onto the scene in 2015 with a four-track EP, French-born but Osaka-based producer, Vantage has spent the years since cultivating an immersive world at the intersection of sound and technology. Channelling a sound that has been coined as ‘future funk’, Vantage uses a range of analogue synths and instruments to create his distinctive tone. ortie_rouge defines herself as a graphic designer and author, with the desire to create and experiment with different subjects, the concept of world building, alternative culture and fantasy. The virtuosity of the line or more simply the pleasure in graphic experimentation are things that she develops in her practice.
